TELL ME STORIES! Wednesday December 18th 2024 from 6.00pm to 8.00 pm

An evening of talks and readings on the occasion of the presentation of the book TELL ME STORIES!, curated by Manuela Pacella.

On Wednesday, December 18, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, Fondazione Giuliani is pleased to host the event of the publishing project TELL ME STORIES! (Politi Seganfreddo editions, in collaboration with Flash Art), curated by Manuela Pacella.

The evening will consist of talks and readings by Cecilia Canziani, Giulia Crispiani, Allison Grimaldi Donahue, Valerio Mannucci, Manuela Pacella, moderated by Michela Ceruti (Flash Art Managing Editor).

Tell me stories! contains the texts published online for the column of the same name from 2020 to 2024 on Flash Art Italia. A chorus of authorial voices exploring the frontier of critical writing that deliberately defies definitions and blurs the boundaries between genres. The most influential authors of interdisciplinary art writing, autofiction, theoretical fiction, critical writing, creative writing and beyond have been analyzed through insights that are themselves experimental. This gives the reader the opportunity to get to know profiles that are often untranslated into Italian, without feeling the weight of a typically academic, interpretive language that distances rather than brings knowledge closer.

Texts by Cecilia Canziani, Valentina Cipullo Callegarini, Giulia Crispiani, Marta Federici, Allison Grimaldi Donahue, Valerio Mannucci, Anneleen Masschelein, Manuela Pacella, Alda Palermo, Catherine Parsonage, Luisa Villegas G. with Carolina Chacón Bernal.
